Job Description

POSITION
Special Education Teacher•Starpoint High School•Full Year Long Term Substitute Position
EFFECTIVE DATES
September 2026•June 2027
DESCRIPTION:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are aligned with NYS Teaching Standards. Establish an engaging and inclusive classroom environment built on mutual respect and high expectations. Work collaboratively with department/grade level colleagues and administrators.
CERTIFICATION
: Must hold the appropriate certification for teaching area
COMPENSATION
Step 1 of STA contract, health and dental insurance provided
