We are committed to building a team of passionate, skilled educators who make a real difference in the lives of the students we serve. Position Overview We are seeking a licensed and certified Special Education Teacher to join our Queens team. The ideal candidate holds a Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification and has a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs in a structured, nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized instruction to students with disabilities in alignment with IEP goals Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with clinical staff, therapists, and families to support student progress Monitor, document, and report student performance and behavioral data Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed Qualifications Valid NYS teaching license required Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification required Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Passion for working with children and making a meaningful impact
