In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young learners during their early childhood education journey, focusing on developing foundational skills in literacy, math, social-emotional growth, and classroom management. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow in a supportive environment that emphasizes creativity, curiosity, and individualized attention. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational experiences of young children while collaborating with a team of committed educators. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum development best practices. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Support children's social-emotional development by mentoring students and providing guidance tailored to individual needs. Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Manage classroom activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and library services integration. Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, lesson plans, and classroom activities while proofreading all educational materials for accuracy. Skills Proven experience in early childhood education with strong classroom experience in transitional or preschool settings. Expertise in curriculum development tailored for young learners, including literacy education, math, and social-emotional learning. Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices such as Montessori or other progressive educational approaches. Ability to work effectively with children with autism or special needs through specialized teaching strategies and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with learning technology platforms used in early childhood classrooms for lesson planning and student assessment. Experience in private school environments or similar educational settings is preferred. Skills in tutoring, working with individuals with diverse learning styles, and supporting early intervention initiatives.
