Special Education Teachers play a critical role in advancing learning excellence by ensuring students with disabilities have access to meaningful, rigorous instruction and individualized supports aligned to their unique strengths and needs. Through respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and through effective communication within multidisciplinary teams, Special Education Teachers help create inclusive environments where students feel supported and challenged. We seek educators who are committed to continuous improvement—using data, reflection, and collaboration to refine instructional practices and promote academic progress, independence, and social-emotional growth across grade levels. These positions require appropriate NYS Teacher Certification. The salary range is $49,037 to $85,634 and will be commensurate with experience.
