This program is (SCCNS) is seeking a warm, creative, and experienced Head Teacher for its 2's classroom, which is a half-day (8:15 AM - 11:30 AM) program. SCCNS is a non-sectarian preschool with the following objectives: FOR THE CHILD, to supplement home experiences with wider learning opportunities in a loving, secure environment, and to provide a solid foundation for entry into elementary school. FOR THE PARENT, to provide meaningful opportunities for involvement in your child's education, and to promote a positive and happy relationship with your child. The Head Teacher reports to the Nursery School Director and is responsible for the general supervision and management of a class of 2 year-olds.

This person must:

be punctual; have a warm friendly personality; be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others; relate well to children and parents and other staff members, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the school's objectives, goals and educational philosophy.

Requirements:

CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education required. For the right candidate, SCCNS will cover CDA tuition with proof of teaching experience of 3 years or more.
