Needed:
Special Education Teacher certification Experience with individualized and small-group instructional strategies Familiarity with IEP implementation, behavioral interventions, and adaptive learning methods Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, staff, and support services Flexibility and patience working with students awaiting placement Experience in summer or ESY programs appreciated
Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized education to meet the unique needs of a rising 2nd-grade student Craft daily lessons that adhere to IEP goals and summer learning objectives Monitor student progress, documenting growth and challenges for ongoing team review Collaborate with other educators and related service providers to ensure continuity of care Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment tailored to your student's readiness and needs Maintain a positive and open line of communication with family to support transitions This contract position begins July 6, 2026, offering the chance to make a significant impact on a young student's educational journey during a key transitional period.
