Job Description

May 29, 2026 Special Education Teacher - Grades 7-12
Duties:
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for the instruction of credit bearing content in Science and Math within a special education setting, as well as all of the activities to support the special education program as outlined by the program director.
Qualifications:
New York State 7 - 12 Grade Special Education Teacher Certification, Certified or Highly Qualified in the core content area of Science. (Preference given to applicants who also have English and/or Math certification)
Location of Position:
Skills Development Program, VVS Middle/High School Term of Employment:
Full Time - 10
Month Salary:
Contingent upon education and experience and according to the Madison-Oneida BOCES Teacher Contract.
