Job Title:
Digital Learning Teacher General Statement of Job Provides instruction, training and resources in order to facilitate the use of technology in the classroom which will increase student skills and knowledge of tools related to being a responsible and efficient digital citizen. Reports to building principal. Essential Job Duties 1. Teaches skills, knowledge, and critical thinking through lesson in technology education to students utilizing a variety of tools. 2. Develops lesson plans and supplementary materials compatible with the curriculum and adaptable for the needs of all students. 3. Instruct students in digital citizenship and other subject matter as aligned with technology, STEM and STEAM. 4. Instructs students in the proper use, care and safe handling of equipment. 5. Evaluates the academic growth of the students and keeps appropriate records to include attendance, and report cards. 6. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior for a productive learning environment. 7. Communicates with parents, school counselors and the building principal on student progress as needed. 8. Supervises students as assigned throughout the working day. 9. All other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education or a related field Teacher certification/licensure Maintains current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technology Experience preferred.
