Cleveland, OH In Person / Onsite Position Summary RCM Health Care is seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher to support students during the 2026 / 2027 school year. This position focuses on providing educational and behavioral support for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and English Language Learners within a school-based environment. The Intervention Specialist will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences that drive student achievement and growth. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity . Responsibilities

Key Duties:

Support educational and behavioral goals for students with a focus on students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and English Language Learners Collaborate with classroom teachers to support classroom interventions, curriculum modifications, and student learning strategies Conduct diagnostic assessments, functional behavior assessments, and develop behavior improvement plans Facilitate IEP meetings and develop measurable IEP goals and objectives Utilize research-based instructional practices and culturally responsive teaching methods Communicate regularly with families regarding student academic and social-emotional progress Participate in school activities, field trips, and non-instructional events as assigned Maintain progress monitoring and work toward student achievement and school culture goals Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field

Licenses & Certifications Required:

Current State Intervention Specialist /

Special Education Teaching License Required:

Ability to pass FBI and BCI background checks

Skills:

Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards Experience working within Full Inclusion or Co-Teaching Resource Room models Strong written and verbal communication skills High proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook Excellent organization and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Comfortable working within a coaching environment focused on observation, feedback, and continuous growth Benefits Per Diem / Temporary (Hourly) Roles
