Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. This unique opportunity places you in an environment dedicated to serving "opportunity youth" ages 15-21, offering a flexible, self-paced curriculum, diploma achievement, and career and technical education designed to prepare students for sustainable, meaningful employment after graduation. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through June 25, 2027, working a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Valid licensure/certification as a Special Education Teacher Proven experience supporting high school students with diverse needs Ability to modify instruction and create individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and external partners Flexibility and resourcefulness to engage and motivate students who may face academic and personal challenges Familiarity with career and technical education or alternative school settings is advantageous
