Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract position as a School-Based Special Education Teacher offers an engaging opportunity to support K-12 students in Dayton, Ohio. The role requires an Ohio Special Education teaching certification and involves working five days per week for a total of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to promote an inclusive learning environment Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed Employ a variety of teaching techniques and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education requirementsQualifications:
Ohio Special Education teaching certification is mandatory Experience working with students across the K-12 age range preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members Ability to adapt to different learning needs and maintain a positive, supportive classroom atmosphereLocation:
