The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves creating and implementing lesson plans that promote literacy, physical education, and overall development while managing classroom behavior effectively. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure each child's educational needs are met. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Facilitate physical education activities to promote health and wellness among preschoolers. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Educate students on foundational literacy skills through engaging activities and storytelling. Support children with special education needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention as required. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for all students. Experience Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development for early childhood education. Experience in physical education or related fields is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
