In this role, you will develop and implement tailored intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, hearing impairments, and other special education requirements. Your expertise will help foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes growth, independence, and academic success for every student. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while utilizing your skills in speech therapy, curriculum development, behavioral therapy, and more. Responsibilities Design and deliver individualized intervention plans aligned with each student's IEP (Individualized Education Program) to support their unique developmental and educational goals Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, therapists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive support strategies Utilize evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral health techniques, and speech therapy to enhance communication, social skills, and learning outcomes Develop engaging lesson plans incorporating learning technology, literacy education, math instruction, and recreational therapy to foster holistic development Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly Provide classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment Offer mentoring and training to educators and caregivers on best practices for working with children with disabilities or special needs Experience Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or special education environments Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy, literacy education, math instruction, and curriculum development for diverse learners Familiarity with early intervention programs and preschool or Montessori classroom experience is highly desirable Strong understanding of childhood development principles and techniques for working with individuals with autism or visual impairments Experience implementing instructional design principles tailored for students with disabilities or behavioral health needs Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and engaging families in the educational process Background in behavioral therapy, music therapy, or recreational therapy is a plus for creating enriching learning experiences Join us to empower children through innovative teaching methods, compassionate support, and dedicated intervention strategies.
