The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves working closely with children, developing engaging curriculum, and implementing effective teaching strategies to support the diverse needs of students. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education, math skills, and overall childhood development. Create lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are engaged and challenged. Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Provide individualized support for students with special education needs and those requiring early intervention. Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources, including Montessori methods where applicable. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children in daycare or preschool settings. Experience Proven experience working with children in educational settings, including preschool or private school environments. Background in early childhood education or related fields is essential; experience in toddler care is highly desirable. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members. Experience in tutoring or teaching physical education is a plus. Knowledge of child welfare practices and commitment to promoting the well-being of all students.
