Special Ed Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create effective strategies for student success. Assess and document student progress regularly, adjusting instructional methods as needed. Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning atmosphere conducive to growth and engagement. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and maintain compliance with all applicable education regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid teaching certification with a focus on Special Education. Experience working with students with a range of disabilities in a school environment. Strong understanding of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assistive technology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students.
