Lead daily classroom activities including circle time, physical education, music, and hands-on learning experiences aligned with childhood development milestones. Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing where applicable; communicate findings with families regularly. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety protocols are followed and that classroom management promotes respectful interactions among children. Collaborate with special education professionals to support children requiring additional assistance or individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain detailed lesson plans, activity schedules, and childcare records in compliance with licensing standards and best practices in early childhood education. Experience Prior classroom experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is essential; Montessori or preschool experience is highly valued. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood subjects such as math, literacy, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices for working with children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services. Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment that supports child welfare and positive behavior management. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members; experience in tutoring or working with students is advantageous. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for young children and experience in lesson planning for preschool-aged learners. Certification in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in childcare, daycare operations, or private school teaching enhances candidacy.
