Duties Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including arts, sports, theater, and educational games Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to support each child's unique needs and progress Maintain a clean, organized environment aligned with childcare standards and safety regulations Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing tailored assistance Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies Familiarity with first aid procedures and child safety protocols Background in working with children with special needs or in inclusive education environments is a plus Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, energetic environment that encourages learning and social interaction Previous involvement in sports coaching, babysitting, or theater activities that enhance child engagement is advantageous
