Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Special Education Teacher (Full-Time, Onsite - Tulsa, Oklahoma Area) Position Overview Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is within the education industry and offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a structured classroom setting. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing individualized learning plans and fostering an inclusive environment. Additional details regarding classroom assignment and caseload are being finalized and will be shared during the hiring process. Key Responsibilities The Special Education Teacher will design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's academic and developmental goals. Responsibilities include delivering differentiated instruction, monitoring student progress, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent student support. Maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes engagement and growth is essential. Qualifications and Requirements Candidates must hold an active Special Education certification, with consideration given to those certified in severe/profound or comprehensive special education. Applicants with early childhood or elementary education certifications will also be considered if they have relevant experience supporting students with special needs. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills are important for success in this role. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite and committed to the full academic year. Compensation and Benefits This full-time contract position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $30 to $45, based on experience and qualifications.
