Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact working as a Special Education Teacher in a full-time contract role supporting students with severe and profound needs. This position is based near Skiatook, OK, running from August 13, 2026, through May 21, 2027. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children with significant disabilities, while maintaining a nurturing, structured environment for effective learning. An elementary certification is required, with a preference for those who bring hands-on experience in elementary settings.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid Elementary Certification Minimum of 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially in severe/profound classrooms Deep understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting lesson plans to meet diverse student needs Strong collaboration skills for working with classroom aides, support staff, and families Excellent communication and organization abilities
Responsibilities:
