About the
Role:
This position works closely with Relationship Managers to attain team and department goals. They provide exceptional customer service along with operational soundness and are active in generating revenue for the department. Maintain high-quality customer service while providing full retail bank services for Private/Healthcare clients, including wires, new accounts, CRE loans, consumer loans, commercial loans, and account maintenance Regularly provide proactive solutions and problem resolution for clients and peers Cross-sell and refer all relevant bank and investment needs to Relationship Managers to assist clients in reaching their financial objectives Update and maintain CRM software in an accurate and timely manner Provide dedicated support to Healthcare Relationship Managers for inquiries and/or research needed to enhance, develop, and maintain customer relationships May work directly with clients to set up appointments with Relationship Managers and request financials as needed Ensure process is followed to minimize fraud. Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words. About You:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) 2 years - of experience as a Personal Banker or Commercial Assistant, or other relevant work experience (Required) High level of accountability and responsibility for achieving both personal and Bank goals Ability to effectively multi-task Knowledge of and ability to service deposit products, online banking, credit and debit cards, consumer lending products, and merchant services Ability to present oneself in a professional manner Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills Ability to work both independently and within a team in a constantly changing business environment Self-starter who is willing to accept additional responsibilities as the opportunities arise Proficient with Microsoft Office and any banking software used in the department Customer-focused service and sales skills May have understanding of consumer and commercial lending Overall knowledge of bank operations Building knowledge, skills, and experience in all functions required as a Healthcare Support Specialist The pay range for this role is $25.00 to $33.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
