Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students by supporting growth and fostering an inclusive learning environment as a Special Education Teacher. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Experience adapting curriculum to meet a variety of student needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Dedication to fostering a safe, nurturing, and equitable classroom Ability to manage classroom behavior and cultivate positive student relationships
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs for students with diverse learning needs Track student progress toward academic, social, and behavioral goals Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Maintain accurate records, document services, and participate in IEP meetings Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and differentiate lessons Support students in building self-advocacy, life skills, and social-emotional growth Discover the satisfaction of helping every child reach their full potential in an environment that values your expertise and passion.
