Job Summary:
Special Education Teacher - Elementary (ERC) | Oregon City, OR We are seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time elementary school assignment in Oregon City, OR, supporting students in an ERC classroom (mild to moderate disabilities). This is a 1.0 FTE position serving K-5 students, starting ASAP and running through June 12, 2026. The Special Education Teacher will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and developmental growth, while preparing students for meaningful inclusion in general education settings when appropriate.

PM Hours:
37.5 per week
Contract Length:
Approximately 4 months
Caseload:
Approximately 36 students
Classroom Type:
Elementary ERC (mild-moderate needs)
Support Team Includes:
School Psychologist (0.5), SLP (0.6), part-time
OT/PT, Autism Specialist, Learning Specialist TOSA, and Student Services Facilitator Interview:
With the District Special Education Team Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs Support inclusion and skill development across academic and functional domains Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation Requirements Active Oregon Teaching License required Special Education endorsement preferred Ability to start ASAP Reliable attendance and transportation Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required
Compensation Local:
