Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity focuses on collaborating with students and staff to create an inclusive and effective classroom, guiding learners toward academic and personal growth for the full school year from August 19, 2026, through June 16, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Active Special Education Teacher certification Previous experience working with high school-aged students Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing IEPs Strong background in lesson planning tailored for diverse learning needs Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues
Responsibilities:
Manage a high school caseload, providing instruction and support based on individual education plans Develop, write, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance with all state and federal guidelines Create and deliver engaging lesson plans that accommodate a variety of learning styles and educational needs Collect and analyze student data to assess progress and modify instruction as needed Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and other team members to support student success Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere This contract position offers a competitive hourly pay starting at $35, reflective of your experience and dedication.
