Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape early childhood development through innovative teaching practices, personalized support, and collaborative curriculum planning. As a Lead Teacher, you will foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes literacy, numeracy, social-emotional growth, and inclusive learning for children with diverse needs. Your leadership will ensure that every child receives high-quality education and care, setting the foundation for lifelong success. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones, curriculum standards, and individualized education programs (IEPs). Manage classroom activities to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and active participation. Collaborate with families, specialists, and support staff to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Utilize behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies to support children with behavioral challenges or disabilities. Conduct assessments such as standardized testing and ongoing formative evaluations to track developmental progress. Mentor and supervise assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on instructional methods and classroom management. Maintain detailed documentation of student development, IEP goals, communication logs, and behavioral reports in compliance with licensing requirements. Skills Proven experience in early childhood education or preschool settings with classroom management expertise. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and curriculum development. Familiarity with special education practices including working with students with autism, developmental disabilities, or speech therapy needs. Ability to design effective lesson plans that incorporate Montessori or other child-centered pedagogies. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience in behavioral health techniques such as behavioral therapy and behavior management strategies. Proficiency in using IEPs, standardized testing tools, tutoring methods, and library services to enhance learning outcomes. Pay:
