Holy Rosary School in Duryea is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resource Teacher to provide small group instruction and academic support to students. This position is ideal for an educator who holds a Special Education certification and has a genuine passion for helping children grow in reading and math .

Position Overview:

The Resource Teacher will work with students in small groups to reinforce classroom instruction, support diverse learning needs, and build confidence in foundational literacy and math skills within a supportive, faith-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted small group instruction in reading and math Assess student needs and implement effective intervention strategies Support students with varying learning abilities and academic challenges Collaborate with classroom teachers to align instruction and monitor student progress Maintain accurate records of student growth and communicate with staff and parents Foster a positive, respectful, and faith-centered learning environment Qualifications (Required): Bachelor's degree in Education Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Certification Demonstrated passion for teaching reading and mathematics Experience working with elementary students and diverse learners Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with intervention programs and differentiated instruction Background in literacy and math support strategies
