Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing a classroom atmosphere that promotes early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while collaborating with dedicated staff and families to create an engaging learning community. We have full and part time positions available! Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students Use evidence-based behavioral management techniques to support positive behavior and social skills development. Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to support speech therapy goals and IEP (Individualized Education Program) implementation. Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, behavior management plans, and communication logs for families and team members. Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or special education environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, therapists, and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curriculum units that incorporate literacy, math, STEM, and hands-on activities. Passion for mentoring young learners and recognize their individual strengths.
