Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your passion and expertise as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired to a supportive academic environment near Jersey Shore, PA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with schools and empower students who are visually impaired, helping them achieve their educational goals and enhance their independence.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid teaching certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience working with students who are blind or have low vision in an educational setting Strong understanding of Braille, assistive technologies, and adapted curriculum development Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized educational strategies
Key Responsibilities:
