Responsibilities Build real bonds with dogs/pets and their families Follow structured routines that create calm, happy pets Own your schedule and managing visits with precision Represent a brand that stands for trust and professionalism Make someone's day every single day you show up Lead energetic and safe dog walks, ensuring proper handling and adherence to individual pet needs Provide pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and offering companionship Perform animal handling with care to ensure safety during walks, grooming, or veterinary visits Maintain detailed records of pet behavior, health concerns, and daily activities for owner updates Handle pet transportation safely, including heavy lifting of crates or equipment when necessary Respond promptly to pet emergencies or behavioral issues with calmness and professionalism Maintain communication with office staff Experience Prior dog training experience or familiarity with canine behavior management techniques Veterinary experience such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant background is highly desirable Animal handling skills gained through kennel work, pet sitting, or shelter volunteering Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet grooming practices Experience working with diverse animals including dogs, cats, backyard livestock or even equine (horses) is a plus Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting and extended periods of outdoor activity Previous experience in pet care roles that involve animal restraint, pet sitting, or kennel management
