Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year in Middletown, PA. This role focuses on supporting an elementary caseload of 34 students on the autism spectrum, providing essential communication support to enhance their academic and social success.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM Contract through June 4, 2026, with immediate start preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify communication challenges and needs Design and implement targeted intervention plans for students with autism Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student progress Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and documentation requirements Utilize telespeech methods alongside traditional in-person therapy as appropriate
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP certification and licensure Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly those on the autism spectrum Strong knowledge of communication disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies Ability to work effectively in a school environment and collaborate with educational teams Familiarity with telespeech techniques is a plus This opportunity provides a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of students with autism within an educational setting.
