Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available within a school district in Norristown, PA, focusing on special education needs. This role involves working closely with young learners in early childhood education settings and is a contract opportunity with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students within special education classrooms. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student. Collaborate with educational staff and families to optimize student learning and development. Manage and support a caseload consisting of two classroom needs in early childhood special education. Work at designated sites including the Early Childhood Education Center in Aston and the Folcroft Campus.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with early childhood special education students. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Ability to manage multiple classroom responsibilities effectively.

Primary work locations include the Early Childhood Education Center in Aston, PA, and the Folcroft Campus in Folcroft, PA.
