Position Summary We're hiring a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to support billing, claims management, authorizations, and revenue cycle operations for our growing home care agency. This is a full-time, M-F onsite role at our agency office located on W. Girard Avenue in Philadelphia. This role is responsible for ensuring claims are submitted accurately and timely, resolving billing issues, tracking authorizations, monitoring denials, and helping maintain strong cash flow and payer compliance. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and experienced in healthcare billing operations for a high-volume caseload (250+ active clients). Responsibilities Submit and manage claims for Medicaid, MCO, waiver, and other payer sources Review EVV, timesheets, and billing data for accuracy prior to claim submission Monitor claim status, denials, rejections, and unpaid balances Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payer issues Track authorizations, units, and utilization to prevent billing interruptions Communicate with payers regarding claim corrections and billing inquiries Maintain accurate billing documentation and audit-ready records Partner with Scheduling, Case Management, and Leadership teams to resolve billing-related issues Assist with reporting, reconciliation, and revenue cycle tracking Qualifications 2 years of home healthcare healthcare billing experience required Experience successfully managing billing for a high-volume caseload (250+ active participants each week) required Home care, home health, Medicaid waiver, and MCO billing experience required Experience with EVV systems such as HHAeXchange and/or WellSky preferred Knowledge of claim submission, denials management, and payer requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and billing systems Ability to manage deadlines and high-volume workflows Professional communication and problem-solving skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance available 401(k) Career growth opportunities within a rapidly growing healthcare organization Why Hope Rising?
