Not only will you support middle school students (grades 6th-8th) using a dynamic push-in/pull-out teaching model, but you will also have the opportunity to refine your skills and expand your influence in a collaborative, supportive environment. This travel assignment promises 40 hours per week (8:15am-4:15pm, Monday through Friday), running from August 2026 through June 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Active PA Instructional I or II Certification in Special Education K-12 (or eligible to obtain by July's end) Middle school teaching experience preferred Familiarity with push-in/pull-out special education service models Strong commitment to student-centered, inclusive teaching practicesResponsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to 6th-8th grade students Use push-in/pull-out formats for flexible, individualized student support Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff Assess, monitor, and document student progress via IEP goals Foster an inclusive, welcoming classroom climate Enjoy theseBenefits:
