Primary Responsibilities:
Perform patient care tasks, including ADLs, point-of-care testing, and basic medical procedures (e.g., IV/foley insertion/removal, specimen collection, wound care, etc.). Assist with physical, respiratory, and cardiopulmonary therapies; report patient status changes to RNs. Participate in patient/family education, quality initiatives, and department projects. Adhere to safety policies, document accurately, and complete work efficiently Transport cardiac-monitored patients and perform advanced tasks based on departmental needs (e.g., EKGs, NG tube removal). Engage in continuous learning, feedback, and self-review. High school diploma or equivalent.
