Special Education Teacher in Quakertown, PA

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support an Emotional Support Classroom for 3rd to 5th grades. This is a contract position running from ASAP through June 10, 2026, located in Quakertown, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with emotional support needs in grades 3-5. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with students' goals. Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to promote a positive learning environment. Maintain classroom records and monitor student progress regularly.

Qualifications:

Fully active Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Special Education is required. Experience working with emotional support students in an educational setting preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

The role is based at an elementary school in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.
