Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Serve as an itinerant teacher in assigned geographic locations, primarily in Carbon or Lehigh counties Provide special education services by covering staff absences, short-term or long-term leaves Step into a variety of classroom settings, ensuring continuity of instruction and support Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction in compliance with IEP goals Collaborate with school teams to communicate student needs and progress Adapt quickly to classroom routines and build rapport with students and staff Participate in IEP meetings and support documentation processes as required This assignment follows the school calendar, running from August 2026 through June 2027, for 35 hours per week.
