Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and innovative STEAM & Technology Teacher to inspire and empower students through engaging lessons in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in a dynamic learning environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for integrating cutting-edge learning technology with curriculum development tailored to diverse student needs, including those with disabilities. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive STEAM curricula that align with educational standards and incorporate modern learning technology tools. Develop engaging lesson plans that integrate literacy, math, and science concepts to promote hands-on learning experiences. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, assign coursework, and facilitate communication with students and parents. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to foster a safe and productive space. Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and project-based assessments. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives and participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and innovative teaching methods. Requirements Proven classroom experience teaching STEM subjects or integrated STEAM programs at the elementary or secondary level. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design tailored for diverse learners. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technology platforms. Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues. Prior experience in private school environments or Montessori settings is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms efficiently while fostering creativity and curiosity among students. Pay:
$66,000.00 - $78,800.00 per year
