Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract This full-time Special Education Teacher position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood education within Delaware County IU 25. The role involves supporting students with special education needs at two classroom locations: one at an Early Childhood Education Center in Aston and another at the Folcroft Campus in Folcroft, PA. Working 37.5 hours per week, this contract position provides a focused caseload in early childhood settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to each student's unique learning needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to ensure educational goals are met. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and academic growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with early childhood special education students. Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff. Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
