This contract opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work onsite for an Extended School Year (ESY) program, with the potential for continued employment into the 26/27 academic year. The assignment will take place at a supportive learning center, fostering an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere for both students and staff.

Key Qualifications:

Valid PA Special Education Teacher certification required Experience working with students in special education settings, ideally within school environments Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Positive, flexible attitude and commitment to fostering student growth

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse abilities Collaborate with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation of student attendance, performance, and behavioral data Participate in staff inservice training on July 7, 2026 Teach ESY students from July 8, 2026 through July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday, between 8:15am and 11:45am Possibility to transition into a full 26/27 school year position, with anticipated school hours from 7:45am - 3:15pm Take part in a program designed to make a difference for students who benefit from thoughtful, individualized instruction.
