The Paraprofessional supports students by providing instructional and behavioral assistance as outlined in individual learning plans. Working under the direction of the classroom teacher and learning consultant, the paraprofessional assists with modified instruction, skill reinforcement, remedial support, behavioral interventions, and real-time coaching to help students achieve their educational goals. The paraprofessional reports to the principal and collaborates closely with teachers and learning consultants to implement learning plans, collect and report student data, and communicate student progress. Training, resources, and ongoing guidance will be provided by the learning consultant, classroom teachers, One Classroom staff, and/or other designated support personnel. Job Responsibilities Assist students with modified instruction and skill reinforcement activities. Support the implementation of individualized learning plans. Provide remedial instruction and behavioral support as directed. Collect, document, and report student performance and progress data. Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, learning consultants, and school staff. Supervise and support students during instructional and designated school activities. Follow established procedures and instructional strategies provided by educational staff. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience working with children is preferred; teaching experience is helpful but not required. Ability to follow directions and implement instructional and behavioral strategies. Understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team. Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
