Job Description

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Client Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position reporting to any RI or MA Hilb office.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily service functions and ad hoc requests, escalating issues as needed; including resolving enrollment and claims issues with carriers. Takes initiative with researching and resolving customer issues and concerns and proactively provide solutions to deliver timely and effective resolutions to customers Create and maintain client tracker with renewal dates to proactively support Open Enrollment processes. Request census data from client and/or carriers to support marketing efforts Request Benefit Guides from communications team; review for accuracy Request benefit plan summaries and SBC's from carriers Facilitate new COBRA account set up and manage COBRA renewals. Coordinate MAPFML private plan exemption filings with clients. Coordinate completion of and/or complete paperwork related to new plan set up
Qualifications:
Education - High school diploma required; some college level coursework preferred Certification - Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License Excellent oral and written communication skills Exceptional relationship development skills, interpersonal and time management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Working knowledge and understanding of group benefits/administration
