English—a dynamic dual-role position that supports homeschool students through our Virtual Learning Support Program while also providing key administrative and operational support to the Radius Online Learning Manager. This role is primarily student-facing, delivering high-quality online instruction, tutoring, study hall support, clubs, and homework help. In addition, this individual serves as the second-in-command (2IC) to the Radius Online Learning Manager, assisting with coordination, communication, and program operations as needed. This role prioritizes student-facing instructional responsibilities as a Learning Support Specialist (English), with administrative and 2IC functions serving as a secondary focus based on program needs. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, proactive, and resourceful, with a passion for education and the ability to balance instructional responsibilities with administrative support in a fast-paced online environment. They are attentive to deadlines, dependable, and demonstrate a strong ability to support the team and follow through on tasks to completion.Key Responsibilities:
Student Instruction & Support Serve as an ambassador for Radius Learning by engaging with families, addressing concerns, and consistently demonstrating Radius values, while maintaining a professional appearance and contributing to a positive, student-centered environment. Provide academic support, which includes but is not limited to online tutoring, live instruction, clubs, study hall, and homework help in English (reading, writing, grammar, comprehension) Facilitate engaging, student-centered online sessions aligned with learning goals Monitor student participation, manage breakout rooms, and maintain a focused and respectful learning environment Enforce digital conduct expectations and address off-task behavior as needed Track attendance and maintain accurate session notes 2IC Support Radius Online Learning Support the Radius Online Learning Manager with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks Assist in coordinating online schedules, staffing, sessions, and overall program logistics Monitor attendance, student engagement, and program effectiveness, identifying trends and areas for improvement Support with CRM management including data tracking, updates, reporting, and ensuring accuracy of student records Assist with communication to families and internal team members, ensuring clarity, consistency, and timeliness Help plan, coordinate, and execute online or hybrid events connected to programming Support onboarding processes and ensure smooth execution of program workflows Maintain organization of systems, documentation, and operational processes, including expense tracking for Online Learning Support Step in to support and help oversee operations when the Manager is unavailable Other duties as assigned Technical & Student Support Assist students and families with basic technical issues related to Zoom and learning platforms in collaboration with theLearning Support Specialist:
IT Provide general onboarding support for new students and families Communication & Team Alignment Attend all required meetings and actively contribute to discussions, updates, and team alignment Collaborate across all Radius Learning teams and platforms to ensure clear communication and alignment of programs and priorities Maintain clear, consistent communication with the Radius Online Learning Manager Represent Radius Learning with professionalism and excellence, ensuring clear, concise, and consistent communication with students and families Escalate challenges proactively and contribute to solution-oriented discussionsRequired Qualifications:
Valid Colorado Teaching License Bachelor's Degree in English or related field Experience working with K-12 students in educational or mentoring settings Strong interpersonal communication skills Proficiency with Zoom, Google Workspace, and common learning/helpdesk platforms Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a live support environmentPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in virtual learning environments Background in customer service or IT support Familiarity with educational compliance and enrichment planning Previous experience in financial administration within educational settingsCore Competencies:

Full-Time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday 9:00a - 5:00pLocation/Travel:
On-site in Colorado Springs, CO. Occasional in-state travel may be required.Compensation Range:
