Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired - Montana ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Billings, MT Job Details 14 hours ago Qualifications Working with students Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Montana (Remote) We are seeking a qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual services to students in a Montana school district. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting students located in Montana. Position Overview The TVI will deliver specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments through the VocoVision virtual platform. You'll collaborate closely with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students have equitable access to their education. Key Responsibilities Provide direct virtual instruction to students with visual impairments Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success Adapt materials and recommend assistive technology for remote learning environments Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Qualifications Active TVI certification (required) Licensure in Montana or eligibility to obtain Montana licensure Experience working with students with visual impairments (preferred) Comfort with virtual instruction and technology platforms Strong communication and organizational skills Position Details 100% remote - work from anywhere in the U.S. Flexible scheduling options may be available Competitive compensation based on experience Why This Role?
