Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a professional skilled in providing specialized educational support to visually impaired students through telehealth services in a school environment. This position requires dedication to enhancing learning experiences and accessibility for students with visual impairments. Key responsibilities include delivering instruction and support tailored to the needs of visually impaired students via telehealth platforms, collaborating with educational staff to integrate accommodations, and assessing students' progress to adjust teaching methods accordingly. Maintaining clear documentation and communication with families and educators is essential.
Qualifications and desired experience:
Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Expertise in telehealth educational delivery methods In-depth knowledge of visual impairment and adaptive teaching strategies Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational professionals Experience working in a school setting preferred
Location:
