Job Description

About Soulidarity Soulidarity is a mission-driven online therapy and evaluation practice serving diverse and often underserved communities, including Mandarin-speaking clients and families. We provide therapy, psychological evaluations, and immigration-related assessments, and we are growing our digital presence across global social platforms to reach people who need support. Role overview Soulidarity is seeking an AI-Powered Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to own day-to-day content creation and social media growth across Instagram, RED (RedNotes/小红书), Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and email newsletters. This role combines hands-on content production (photo, short-form video, basic editing) with AI tools, social media trend research, and simple CRM nurturing to turn followers into leads and referral partners. You will work directly with the founder (a licensed clinical psychologist) to translate clinical expertise into relatable, ethical, and engaging content for mental health seekers and community partners. Key responsibilities Content creation & production Brainstorm, plan, and create weekly content for IG, RED, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn (posts, carousels, Reels, short videos, stories). Use AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL•E, Canva, CapCut, Descript, etc.) to generate images, thumbnails, and first-draft video or copy concepts. Support simple video shoots (phone or camera), including filming the founder, basic lighting/framing, and pulling short clips for Reels/TikToks. Edit short-form videos for social (hooks, captions, subtitles, basic transitions, music). Repurpose long-form content (webinars, lives, talks) into multiple short, platform-native pieces. Strategy, research & analytics Study market and platform trends weekly to propose new content angles, series ideas, and hooks tailored to mental health, immigration evaluations, and online therapy. Research competitor accounts and trendsetters (in both English and Mandarin spaces) and present concise "what's working" summaries plus content ideas. Track and report basic analytics (reach, saves, shares, follower growth, website clicks, leads) and suggest data-driven adjustments. Test and iterate on posting times, formats, and hooks to improve engagement and lead generation. Lead generation & CRM Set up and manage simple lead capture flows from social (e.g., link in bio, DM automations, "comment to get resource" workflows). Collaborate on simple lead magnets (checklists, psychoeducation PDFs, quizzes) and deliver them via email. Help build and maintain a basic CRM/email list, segmenting audiences (potential clients, referral sources, partners) and supporting regular newsletters. Draft and schedule email newsletters and nurture sequences using AI-assisted copy to keep Soulidarity top of mind. Mandarin content & RED (RedNotes/小红书) management Manage and grow Soulidarity's presence on RED (RedNotes/小红书) for Mandarin-speaking audiences. Create culturally sensitive and linguistically accurate Mandarin content (posts, captions, comments) aligned with Soulidarity's brand voice and clinical ethics. Engage with followers, respond to comments and DMs, and identify collaboration/partnership opportunities in Mandarin-speaking communities. Collaboration & operations Work closely with the founder to translate clinical topics into accessible content while respecting boundaries of clinical ethics and confidentiality. Maintain an organized content calendar across all platforms (monthly themes, weekly posts, filming days). Document and update simple standard operating procedures (SOPs) for content creation, posting, and reporting as the role grows. Required qualifications Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written), with strong writing skills in both languages. 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing (internships, freelance, or portfolio-based experience welcome). Demonstrated experience managing and growing accounts on IG and at least one of: RED/XiaoHongShu, TikTok, Facebook, or LinkedIn. Comfortable using AI tools for content (image generation, video captioning/subtitles, copy first drafts) and willing to keep learning new tools. Basic video editing skills for vertical short-form content (e.g., CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere Rush, etc.). Strong understanding of social media trends, hooks, and storytelling, especially for education-oriented or personal-brand style content. Organized, self-directed, and able to move quickly while staying aligned with brand voice and clinical boundaries. Nice-to-have Experience in healthcare, mental health, wellness, education, or immigration-related services. Familiarity with CRM/email platforms (e.g., MailerLite, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, HubSpot, etc.). Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools. Understanding of Chinese social media culture and best practices on RED/XiaoHongShu. Work arrangement
