Job Description

Category Schools - Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing - Telehealth Job Type Contract A specialized opportunity is available for a professional skilled in teletherapy to provide consultative services to students with hearing impairments. This contract position involves working remotely to support two students requiring expert guidance in communication and educational strategies tailored for those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering telehealth consultation services for students identified as Deaf or Hard of Hearing Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement effective communication plans Monitoring student progress and providing ongoing recommendations to support learning and engagement Maintaining accurate records of consult sessions and outcomes Desired qualifications and experience: Certification and experience as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing Proficiency in teletherapy and remote service delivery methods Strong understanding of auditory, speech, and language development for students with hearing differences Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
Remote service provision with availability aligned to Swanzey, NH, area requirements.
Time commitment:
Approximately 8 hours per month dedicated to consult services for two students. This contract offers a flexible schedule and the ability to impact educational experiences positively through specialized support.
