Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a teacher specializing in visual impairment services, serving students in the Citrus Heights, CA area for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves a combination of onsite work with flexible opportunities for telehealth delivery, including participation in virtual IEP meetings. Responsibilities include providing direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Each student requires approximately two 60-minute sessions weekly, aligned with the IEP mandate of 60 minutes of monthly in-person vision services plus 180 minutes of yearly parent consultation. Additional duties involve conducting online IEP meetings and completing compensatory services totaling 500 owed minutes, extending the service period beyond the typical weekly sessions.
Key qualifications and experience desired:
