This contract position is located at an upper campus in Warren, RI, serving students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive classroom settings Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to support students with disabilities Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instruction accordingly Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and support personnel to promote student success Maintain accurate documentation and comply with special education regulations

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with middle school aged students in an inclusive classroom Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices Ability to differentiate instruction and use various teaching methods Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering an equitable and supportive learning environment
