Special Ed Teacher

This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) in self-contained classrooms dedicated to providing meaningful learning experiences for students with autism. With multiple openings available, you'll join a collaborative setting alongside 3-6 paraprofessionals, working closely with a small group of no more than 10 students per classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification required Experience or strong interest in working with students on the autism spectrum Understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to lead and coordinate with paraprofessionals in the classroom Effective communication and organization skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:
