Special Ed Teacher - Barnwell, South Carolina

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for Special Education Teachers in Barnwell County, SC, located approximately 45 minutes east of Aiken and Augusta. There are three full-time openings for the 2026-2027 school year, serving diverse educational settings.

Open positions include:

Self-contained primary classroom for grades 2-6 at the local primary school Resource teaching at the elementary school level Resource teaching at the middle and high school levels This role requires experience in special education, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with diverse learning challenges. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff. Key Responsibilities:
