Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Requirements and Desired Experience:
Current, valid South Carolina Teaching License (required) Certification in Special Education and Early Childhood (both required) Multi-Categorical (Multi-Cat) endorsement required Experience with self-contained K-2 special education classrooms preferred Proven ability to support students across various grade levels K-8 (EC, ED, Resource) Skilled in adapting curriculum, IEP implementation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instruction to K-2 students in a self-contained setting, focusing on individual learning needs Provide K-8 resource support tailored to student goals in EC/ED classrooms Monitor student progress, complete documentation, and participate actively in IEP meetings Foster inclusive classroom environments that nurture social, emotional, and academic growth Collaborate with school staff, families, and specialists to support best outcomes for each learner Maintain compliance with district and state regulations, always upholding professional standards This full-time, onsite position offers consistent hours during the school year with support from a dedicated team.
